LA FLEET WEEK 2025
LA FLEET WEEK 2025
2025. 05. 21 – 05. 26
Port of Los Angeles
In a moment where consciousness, freedom, and tradition coexisted, Crown Goose, embodying royal heritage,
solemnly concluded the final chapter of LA Fleet Week 2025 in a display of restrained grandeur,
paying tribute to the spirit of patriotism and devotion.
LA Fleet Week, the largest maritime festival in the United States,
is held annually in honor of Memorial Day, uniting the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps,
and Coast Guard in a grand celebration of service.
Set against the symbolic backdrop of the Port of Los Angeles—the heart of maritime routes
leading to the world—this year’s LA Fleet Week reaffirmed Crown Goose’s presence
as a symbol of restful reverence and silent hospitality.
Fleet Week:
Celebrating Naval Heritage and Public Diplomacy
The origins of Fleet Week trace back to 1935 in San Francisco.
Since its launch in Los Angeles in 2016, LA Fleet Week has evolved into a premier platform
of maritime public diplomacy where technology and culture converge.
During the event, the awe-inspiring aerial performance by the U.S. Navy’s elite flight demonstration squadron,
the Blue Angels, painted the skies in a spectacle that dramatically captured
the fleeting moment where tradition meets the future.
From colossal naval ship tours and live air demonstrations to collaborative exhibitions with global luxury brands,
every moment of the celebration echoed the nation's enduring values of honor and sacrifice.
A wide range of programs—such as helicopter drop simulations,
sea and air military maneuvers, equipment demonstrations,
“Galley Wars,” and “Military Has Talent”—left a lasting impression on audiences,
highlighting the human legacy and dedication that extend beyond the battlefield.
LA FLEET WEEK 2025
The Port of Los Angeles, host of LA Fleet Week 2025,
stands as the largest trade port in North America, located in San Pedro Bay, California.
Processing over nine million containers annually,
it plays a pivotal role in the U.S. maritime logistics network.
Since its opening in 1907, the port has grown into a global logistics hub
and a strategic center for international trade, tourism, and naval operations.
It is now a cultural and defense-linked maritime infrastructure emblematic
of the U.S. West Coast, where events like LA Fleet Week are actively held.
This year’s LA Fleet Week 2025 carried even greater symbolic weight
as it marked the 250th anniversary of the founding
of the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Army, and Merchant Marine.
During the event, the Port of Los Angeles opened its harbor to the public with vessels
such as the USS Carl M. Levin (DDG 120), USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49), and the USCG Eagle (WIX 327),
accompanied by majestic military band performances and naval equipment exhibitions.
Naval & Amphibious Forces
From the U.S. Navy’s strategic maritime dominance, the Marine Corps’ transition
|from sea to land combat, to the Coast Guard’s vigilance over the coastline and safety
of its citizens—these guardians of the sea stood in quiet yet resolute dignity,
safeguarding national security from the oceans.
At Disneyland, where dreams and dedication meet,
service members of the Navy and Marine Corps were honored with a special entrance ceremony during Fleet Week,
celebrating core American values. Under the stars and stripes, citizens and servicemen
shared a heartfelt moment of unity through the Pledge of Allegiance.
